ViererPack Vol. 2

In the “ViererPack” (engl: "four-pack") series, the name says it all: in addition to four thematically focused scenarios, four new AI vehicles will also be delivered and enrich the fleet.

Come along on a virtual journey through history along Berlin's S-Bahn circle line in the second part of the addon series: take an S4 train shortly before the circle line reopened in 2001, or hop on the S85 bound for Pankow in 2023. Each scenario tells a piece of S-Bahn history. Great attention was paid to operational procedures—in addition to original timetables, three different types of departure signaling are used, for which several new voice packages were developed. The paint schemes of the Class 481, which is used in all scenarios, also show the constant change. As a highlight, the colorfully decorated train celebrating the 100th anniversary of the S-Bahn has been implemented.

Four new AI vehicles for computer-controlled traffic add further variety to rail operations: the Class 485, nicknamed the “Coke Can,” which was taken out of service in 2023, now lives on in virtual form with its characteristic sounds. In addition, there are the local transport electric locomotives of the Classes 112.1 and 147, for which numerous train destination labels are included which can be set in scenarios. The Class 648 diesel railcar in the “Prignitz-Express” version rounds off the fleet. The AI vehicles have been given some new functions that can also be controlled in self-created scenarios.
